At SearchKings, a chapter of my professional journey that stands out with immense pride is my leadership role in spearheading an internal brand initiative. This transformative journey began with a vision to infuse our organisation with a sense of unity and camaraderie.

The cornerstone of this initiative was the creation of personalized avatars for every member of our team.

These avatars were not mere images; they were meticulously crafted to encapsulate the essence of each individual's personality, passions, and uniqueness.

Problem

The challenge at hand was twofold: a deficiency in internal branding and a growing need for unity among our expanding talent. Our workforce sought not just a workplace, but a thriving community, and we recognized the potential of internal branding to address these aspirations.

Solution

To address these needs, I introduced a transformative solution by crafting custom illustrated avatars for each employee. These avatars effortlessly harmonized individual uniqueness with collective cohesion. This visual representation of diversity resonated throughout the organisation, adorning email signatures and even customer proposals.

Results

The impact was transformative. Our employees transcended the roles of mere staff, metamorphosing into living embodiments of our brand values. This visual manifestation empowered them to become authentic brand ambassadors. The shared identity fostered a sense of ownership and community, igniting passionate advocacy that radiated not only within our workspace but also beyond its confines.

Made to be used throughout the organisation for external and internal purposes, the success of these avatars was largely due to their ability to highlight each employee’s unique personality.

It was crucial right from the beginning for the avatars to be just as recognizable as they are on a large printed conference display to the smallest thumbnail used in so many of our day-to-day work communication platforms.
